Gary C. Robinson
With over 20 years of designing and delivering training to various groups across the country and around the world, Gary has experienced the dynamics of learning. Different learning styles and memory types affect our individual experiences. We are not all the same. One individual's preference may not match another's preference so the learning doesn't happen. This disconnect exists in the classroom, the business team, and even the family. Gary shares some enlightning and often humorous insights on learning within teams, groups, and companies. Participants learn more about their individal preferences and how to adapt as they engage others who learn differently. He helps explore what gets in the way of learning and how the brain works to store information into memory. Gary's career experience extends from engineering to sales, from marketing to business development. Training was a part in each of these roles. He has also provided extensive training for the Boy Scouts of America where he teaches about vision, passion, leadership, dealing with change, project plannning, and leaving a legacy. Gary's passion for training has developed into his own company where he helps businesses transform their learning environment. Speaking topics include: "Do I need to remember that? I can't even find my pencil." "What is my learning style and why does it matter?" "Those around me just don't get it!" -- understanding how my team learns "I learned that once, I think" -- managing memory and the triggers
