Dr. Gerry Nolan

“Love is, without any question, the most important experience in the life of a human being (Dr.  Ashley Montagu).” This simple truth is the basis of Dr. Gerry Nolan’s keynote addresses, presentations, and workshops. When love is the foundation of our lives, everything is possible; when love is absent, everything is a struggle. As the most powerful force in the human experience, love truly makes us who we are and who we can become.

Dr. Gerry Nolan earned his doctorate in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service from Cardinal Stritch University. He has served as a professional educator for over three decades as a teacher, coach, principal, director of education, superintendent, adjunct faculty member and school board chairman. This experience has convinced Dr. Nolan that real, enduring, healthy human development happens when students experience the mature love of dedicated adults in their lives.

Programs:

All of Dr. Nolan’s programs are highly interactive and invite audience participation through sharing, reflecting, challenging ideas, and taking action steps toward a life oriented around love.

·         The Wisdom, Beauty and Blessings of Loving Teachers

Target audience – Primarily Educators – But applicable for leaders of all kinds

I am convinced that teaching, by its nature, is an act of love. Because this is true as part of our human nature it requires that love be part of the everyday conversation and practice in the educational setting. Through this highly interactive workshop you will explore the powerful impact that love has on learning and on creating a mutually satisfying experience for both students and teachers. Be part of the experience as Dr. Nolan guides participants in exploring the four key connections that together embody the concept of “Teacherly Love.”

·         Fall in Love with your Future

Target Audience – All ages – Adults as well as students

“What do I want to be when I grow up?” This is a question that far too many people only dream about while failing to take the necessary steps to fulfill their dreams. With love as the foundation of your life you won’t be one of the multitudes who die with their music still in them. Get on the road to making your life a beautiful symphony as Dr. Nolan takes you through the steps to get you on your way to love what you are doing, love who you are doing it with, and love who you are doing it for. Falling in love with your future will reveal to you the peace and happiness that is your birth right because love never fails.

·         Hire Hard, Manage Easy – Hiring the right people for your organization who love what they do, love who they are doing it with, and love the customers they are doing it for

Target Audience – Anyone who has the responsibility to attract, hire and retain effective people.

The surest way to improve any organization is to hire and retain the best people. In every industry it is the quality of the people that drives the engine of success. With the right people everything is possible. With the wrong people everything is a struggle.

Every hiring situation is potentially a million dollar decision. Because this is true, the process employed to attract and select top candidates needs to be a top priority for every organization that wants to excel in the marketplace. Through this workshop Dr. Nolan takes you step by step through a hiring process that will attract people who love what they are doing, love the people they do it with, and love the customers they do it for.

Expected Results

All of Dr. Nolan’s presentations include an examination of the power of love from scientific, philosophical, and spiritual perspectives. They also include Dr. Nolan’s own research on the subject. Participants will come away with new understandings and applications of the power of love in their personal and professional lives. Dr. Nolan’s engaging style will have you reflecting on and applying the concepts presented long after your session is over. You will be both affirmed and challenged to release and apply the power of love into every aspect of your life.
