Kathy has an MBA in Marketing from UCLA and has been an adjunct professor in marketing for Dowling College. Her professional background includes co-founding one of the nation's first organizations focused on wellness, and PR and marketing positions in state government and the high tech industry. Kathy also writes mystery fiction and has written articles on writing, pitching to agents and on accepting rejection, given her extensive experience with each of those.
