Larry Westfall
Larry Westfall and his wife Sandie, as L & S TeambuilderS, are consultants who teach organizations how to improve. They use a system that helps teams have fun while they learn to work better together. Larry retired from the Montana Army National Guard in April of 2003 after 38 years of service. While in the Guard he successfully served in a wide range of leadership positions and was promoted to the highest-ranking noncommissioned officer rank in the state. During the last three years of his career he conducted interactive team training for the Guard, nonprofit organizations and schools. He used fun, problem-solving activities/games that help a team cooperate, communicate and make decisions together. After each fun activity/game the team talks about their behavior during the game and how it applies to their behavior in real life and at work. It was so much fun and successful that he has continued it as a business. Sandie raised three children to be successful adults and is closely involved with her 7 grandchildren. She retired from the Helena School District after having served as a teacher assistant and special education teacher for 18 years. She has been certified on the team activities/games and uses her teaching and family experiences during the processing to bring out team members reactions. Together Larry and Sandie bring much fun to experimental learning and interactive teambuilding for any organization.
