Mike Hetherington
Wall Street Journal columnist Jeff Zaslow refers to Hetherington as "America's small business consultant" - or what Mike calls "The-Haven't-Made-A-Fortune-Yet-500." He's "walked the walk" in the world of small business. Guided by Fortune 500 perspectives gained from career stops at Wells Fargo, Saturn, and Paine Webber, Mike has owned two national franchises, founded a business brokerage and partnered in a customer feedback service. He currently coaches clients on harnessing their people's natural strengths. Through his firm "Your Best!", Mike conducts motivational seminars and workshops, customized skills training, and keynotes nationally. Although a recognized expert on "best practices" in customer retention, he also provides small business audiences 21st century solutions to the "people issues" that frustrate them - stress, turnover, motivation, recruiting, retention, conflict, communication and team building. Mike's currently finishing a book for entrepreneurs, "Managing Your Family At Work, or - The Godfather Never Had These Problems." He's a prolific business writer, trade journal columnist and hands-on entrepreneur. His presentations are upbeat, high-energy, content-rich and sprinkled with humor and sparkling, "your world" anecdotes.
